Truck Driver Training Program
Driving has always been more of a hobby than anything to me and I figured if I could get paid to do it, why not. It's enjoyable and has always appealed to me as being fun, even when I'm not driving a truck. I thought the training at TCE was great. The instructors were great, and fun just to be around, yet they had a stiff enough attitude to make sure we were learning and doing what we should. I would recommend the school to anybody. I've told a lot of people about them, I don't know how many I've talked to, just about anyone who has the slightest interest in truck driving. I drive about 2,500 miles a week over the road with Monson Trucking, hauling a variety of things from bulk paper, scrap materials (recycling) to beer, pop, etc. I chose them because they have the best starting wage compared to all the other places I talked to, 31.25 cents a mile, and that's just during the probation period. I also get full benefits, medical, vision, dental, holidays and vacation.
