Truck Driver Training Program

I'm 30 years old and have been in the United States for 3 years now.   I'm from Iran and came here for a better life.   I drove truck in Iran and I love truck driving.   When I got here I started out as a machine operator at a printing company, then I had a friend refer me to the truck driving company he was working for and they referred me to Transportation Center for Excellence.   The training was excellent and the best thing about it were the instructors.   They're friendly, nice and all good, professional drivers with a lot of experience.   They taught me everything about truck driving like safety and the driving laws here, which are different compared to Iran.   Shortly after graduation I was hired with a local truck driving company and now I'm making twice what I was making before I started training.   I drive locally and do delivery and pick up.   It's an easy job and a lot better and cleaner than my last one.   It starts at 9 am, I don't have to drive outside of town, I'm home every night and I'm guaranteed 40 hours a week.   I like truck driving because it doesn't tire me out - you're not in the same place all the time.   It's a professional job so you can go anywhere and you'll have the skills to get a job.   Also, the more experience you have, the more money you'll make.   I've already referred people to TCE.
